Sanuk Jacket

The Sanuk Jacket pattern is easy to use and creates a comfortable, unlined jacket wearable with slacks, blouses or dresses. It is designed for sewers who wish to mix fabrics to highlight a special fabric (such as ikats, brocades, or batiks) in the bodice, cuff and trim. Other fabrics such as medium to heavy weight cottons or silks work as well. This creates a distinctive jacket personalized to your taste.

Pattern Package Includes

• FulI-sized pattern pieces for sizes Petite,
Small, Medium and Large.
• Instructions for Cutting and Sewing
including shortening and lengthening the
pattern and conversion to Extra Large sizes.

Suggested Fabrics

• Medium to heavy weight cotton or silk
• Medium weight handwoven border ikats
in cotton

Notions

Interfacing (1/2 yd), three to four 3/4" buttons, 1/8 yd
pocket lining, thread to match, shoulder pads (optional)

     Contrasting fabric: 2 yds for Front and Back Bodice Sides, Sleeves, Pocket, Collar

45" fabric width
     Ikat/Speciality fabric: 3/4 yd for Center Front, Center Back, Cuff, Pocket trim
     Contrasting fabric: 2 yds for Front and Back Bodice Sides, Sleeves, Pocket, Collar
